The Housewares Awards 2021.

Our expertly curated range of categories honour the very best retailers, innovative products and housewares icons, as well as the outstanding individuals at the heart of the industry.

It’s quick , easy and completely free of charge to put yourself in the running using our simple online entry portal.

We’ve put together two incredible panels of industry experts to serve as judges, who will convene to assess each entry put forward on both the retailer and supplier side.* The judges will determine both the shortlist and winners in these categories.

New for 2021, you will also have the chance to make your voice heard! A number of categories will see their winners chosen entirely by you – housewares professionals – in a secure online vote.

*Product samples are required for the judging of the relevant supplier ‘Product’ categories.

THE CEREMONY

We are excited to invite professionals from across the housewares market to join us for an unmissable afternoon of celebration and networking, as The Housewares Awards heads to a brand-new venue in the heart of London this December.

We have made the decision to move the event later in the year to better fit the industry calendar and enable even more of the industry to attend this prestigious celebration. Not only will the event serve as the platform for the big reveal of this year’s winners, but it will also provide a crucial opportunity for the sector to reconnect and network.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ENTER?

Over the past twelve months, businesses have faced a number of unprecedented challenges and we want to make sure that every single company from across the housewares sector has an opportunity to celebrate their successes – so we’ve scrapped entry fees for this year’s event!

That means, whether you’re a manufacturer looking to showcase your latest innovations or a retailer wanting to project your business to the wider market, it won’t cost you a single penny to put yourself in the running to win a coveted Housewares award.

Can I nominate someone else?

Yes! Nominations are highly encouraged in the retailer categories, and the individual categories such as Sales Person of the Year, Trading Achievement Award, Kitchen Hero Award and Retailer Buyer of the Year. Just submit their details using the same online entry form.

WHAT IF I NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE AFTER ENTERING?

If you need to update your entry after submission, just get in touch with marketing@datateam.co.uk with your request.

Which category should i enter?

how does the judging work?

We’ve put together two incredible panels of industry experts to serve as our judges: one for the retail categories, and one for the manufacturer/supplier categories. These independent judges will review each and every entry to determine both the shortlist and winners in the relevant categories.

Which categories are voted for?

We’ve introduced an industry vote for the Sales Person of the Year and Retailer Buyer of the Year categories. This means that those that work with the relevant professionals day in, day out will be able to show their support and be influential in determining the winners.
